My first quadricopter was the Parrot AR.Drone and after flying it for a while, I realize, quadrocopters are really fun!  They are so stable and easy fly.  This ready to build kit sparked my interested because it was simple to build.  Even when the how-to-build video was in Korean it was simple. See the build video and you’ll see what I mean.  It’s super easy, anyone can do it.

The kit came with everything you need to build it minus the receiver.  It doesn’t seem like you’re getting a lot for the $260 ($19 shipping), but I think you definitely get your money’s worth in fun.  You can save some money by getting just the controller board and buying the rest of the parts yourself.  I just didn’t feel like doing that.

Building it was a snap.  There was some issues I had with putting the wrong propeller on the wrong side.  There are 2x 5030 props that turn clockwise and then there are 2x 5030R props that turn counter-clockwise.  You have to put them in the right place or it won’t lift off.  You also have to make sure that the motor wires are soldered in reverse on the right and left motors so the props can spin counter-clockwise.  The front and back props have to spin clockwise.

I’m not going to go into details of building it since it was not hard at all.  The videos and manual below should give you more than enough information.
