Hey guys, have a look at the Razer Naga YouTube video I’ve posted, but here are few things that need to be added as an addendum:
– Razer has released an updated driver set which does in fact allow you to customize the thumb buttons, where previously this was not possible with version 1.X of their driver set. Version 2.x showed that Razer has been listening to their fans and went the extra mile. Drivers are just totally key.
– All the content within the video referring to comfort remains valid and as such is a key factor. I believe that any gaming product should not exert undue stress on the user, otherwise it has no place cost-wise and is no better than office-level equipment. My expectation is such that you should be able to game for multiple hours on end, without feeling carpal or any other repetitive stress-related injuries from extended gaming sessions.
– As stated, the $89.99 price tag is current and is a significant expense, especially compared to other mice out there. Prior driver set 2.X, this is a poor value. Post driver 2.x, I would give the price roughly 7/10 for value, detracting points only due to many awkward button placements.
In any event I hope you guys enjoy this review and I welcome any feedback.
