If you’re looking to read in bed, then you’ll probably end up in the dark at some point or another. Seeing how the Kindle doesn’t have a backlight, you’ll need some external light source.
I’ve tried a number of book lights before and nothing beats this one for less than $4. It comes in a few colours and can flex and hold it’s position. It uses two CR2032 batteries which is included. It casts a very nice glow onto the Kindle’s screen yet doesn’t disturb the person that is sleeping next to you. Unlike other book lights, this one doesn’t have that “flash light” effect where there is a bright spot.
This one I got at a dollar store has the “flash light” effect. It’s very unpleasing to the eyes.
