The E-Flite Blade mSR is one of my most prized toys. Since it’s so small, it’s very delicate. The Spektrum DX6i needs to be protected as well.

I was on a quest to look for a suit case that could hold the mSR and transmitter. It had to be fit it like a glove and not cost an arm and a leg. I looked all over. I found lots of cases at camera shops but they were extremely expensive. They all had “pick ‘n’ pluck” foam that could be removed for a custom fit. I wasn’t going to pay $200. I found a really nice one with the same pick ‘n’ pluck foam for $25 at Harbor Freight.

This case was designed to hold tools but it works perfectly for my usage. It had enough room to old the DX6i, mSR, charger, and batteries. You can hold spare parts and such as well.

Whipping out this aluminum case and opening it in front of people makes you look like James Bond. It’s totally cool and no one expects you to take out such a tiny helicopter.
